Its crazy but there a new game and even though i disprove of there recent action such making leveling maps useless i still this its a great game.
Killing floor 2 does difficulty matter when leveling perk.
When a perk reaches level 25 in killing floor 2 they are able to prestige.
Prestige 1 multiplies all earned xp during the game by x1 3 prestige 2 by x1 35 prestige 3 by x1 4 prestige 4 by x1 45 and prestige 5 by x1 5.
This feature was added as part of the treacherous skies update with an additional rank of prestige added every major update after that.
Commando only really need large mag and tac reload to be effective zerk only need the 200hp perk etc.
When you prestige a perk you reset it back to level 0 losing access to all of its perk bonuses and perk skills until you level it back up.
This guide based on my experience will briefly cover all 10 perks.
Level doesnt matter on some of the perks but perks like medic that actually need the bonus to heal on higher difficulties but level 15 or so is enough for hoe play if and only if you know what to do and what not to do.

The leveling system in killing floor is an interesting one and one in which i have always heartily approved of thanks to its allowance for off perk leveling that is being able to level a certain perk while using a specific weapon even if you aren t currently using that perk.
I don t know what lvl the perk you are trying to level is.
I have nearly 700 hours of experience in killing floor 2 and have gotten every perk to at least level 25 legitimately.

As someone who s only got lv 10 14 perks except the lower survivalist i d like to ask what is a generally accepted time to enter harder difficulties.
They made a new update that made it so you can level up of non white listed maps and there have been glitch ever since but not too many were effected.
